After seeing and witnessing all the unjustified and unnecessary postpotments in Ernesto’s case. And the Circuit Court Judge Andrew L. Siegel’s reckless disregard for Ernesto’s claim of innocence. I decided to write on or about March 21, 2020, a personal letter to Florida Governor DeSantis, explaining in detail, all the unfair and unnecessary delays granted by the Judge in this case and of course, the judge’s clear bias against Ernesto. Approximately two weeks later, I received the following response from the Governor. This letter depicted in full detail the procedures to be followed when complaining about a County and/or a Circuit judge. Additionally, it gave a clear explanation on how to recuse a judge from any particular case. Thus, based on the information obtained from Governor DeSantis’ office, Ernesto filed his Motion to Recuse Judge Andrew L. Siegel from his case.
