I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who has been helping me throughout this fundraising campaign. Your kindness and generosity is truly appreciated. I do understand that sometimes it is not easy to help others and/or be kind to others in moments of need. Specifically, because we are experiencing times of deceivenest and uncertainty. There are individuals in our own communities who are scamming and deceiving our good intentions. For that reason alone, I am even more grateful than ever, because in spite of the negativism, corruption and bad intentions of some individuals in our society, you still decided to help us out.
The truth is, that all I am trying to do is to help someone who has been living the unexplainable and traumatizing experience of being wrongfully convicted and sentenced to die in the Florida Department of Corrections for a crime he did not commit.
As to the legitimacy of my pleadings in this fundraising campaign, all I can tell you is that those who know me or know Ernesto, will never doubt the integrity of my character as an individual, as a citizen, as a neighbor, and as a friend. I am simply trying to support someone in need. As to those who do not know me or Ernesto, it is all a matter of reviewing the contents of this website and the facts that have been exposed throughout the last 5 years. In fact, I have been highly criticized for over explaining the facts of this case. Nonetheless, that is who I am. I like to explain things and I like transparency on whatever I am placing my face, character and integrity on.
