My parents, Ferdinand and Anita Kaltenbach for constantly encouraging me to help Ernesto. My late husband Felix Arnoldo Rapalo for his sincere desires to assist Ernesto in his legal battles. My kids, Natasha, Christian and Patrick for their support while I have been working on this case. My grandson, Noel, for giving me his company while visiting Ernesto in prison.

To Ernesto’s precious daughter, Vanessa, for her patience and understanding in the journey of life during the absence of time with her father. But now with the hope of restoration of relationship with love. His late mother, Lya Behrens for developing her faith in Ernesto becoming a free man. His brothers and sisters in law, Guillermo and Carmen Teresa Behrens, Edgar and Rosaura Behrens, Jose Luis and Carmen Isabel Behrens, Eduardo and Ulmaris Behrens. His sisters, Elssie and Carolina Behrens, and all of his nephews, nieces and cousins for staying behind Ernesto’s cause. Although not being able to help him economically, as much as they want, due to the political and economical oppression that Venezuela in going through.
