After the latest disappointing news received by Ernesto from the Broward Conviction Review Unit in closing his case without conducting the necessary scientific testing unambiguously requested, DNA Consultant Tiffany Roy, introduced Ernesto’s case to professor of law, Craig J. Trocino, the Director of the Miami Law Innocence Clinic at the University of Miami School of Law. Director Trocino, immediately agreed to have Ernesto fill in the required application.
We are extremely thankful and appreciative for the opportunity that is being extended to Ernesto’s case. And of course, all the necessary paperwork will be completed as soon as it is received!
Our most sincere appreciation goes to DNA Consultant Tiffany Roy, for introducing Ernesto’s case to this Innocence Clinic, Director Trocino, for allowing Ernesto to have his case being reviewed by the Innocence Clinic, and of course, to each one of the individuals that directly or indirectly make possible the extensive research and review of these cases—while trying to bring to light those cases where manifest injustice and/or miscarriage of justice has taken place. I firmly believe that it is never too late to obtain justice!
